Most people are familiar with the science of sports psychology and how mental conditioning can be used to improve athletic performance. In this book I have applied similar techniques of psychology and mental exercise to the improvement of musical skill and expression.

Based on the knowledge of how the mind and nervous system works, techniques that have been known for years are described as applied to the improvement of various aspects of musical skill and creativity.

The science is kept to a minimum and focus is applied to routines that can be applied to mental and physical conditioning - resulting in improvements to practice, study, performance, and creative skills needed by musicians.

Mind Power for Musicians

There are thousands of books dealing with music theory, scales, chords, and techniques. But what good is this information if the reader is limited by a poor memory, weak focus, or is too terrified on stage to apply any of this knowledge.
In "Mind Power for Musicians" I have researched and detailed many techniques and exercises which will improve memory, sharpen concentration, enhance creativity, overcome stage fright, increase learning potential, and develop the motivation to practice and study.
